"Q-Fold"

The insulated "Q-Fold" cover is a multiple use or re-usable
thermal thermo cover for
Euro pallets and US
Block pallets. The
Q-fold thermal cover
functions as a passive
cooling system (see page
cold
chain passive cooling)
and protects the
temperature of the
temperature sensitive
products as
pharmaceuticals, food or
chemicals against
unwanted external outer
temperatures.
The special design of the "Q-Fold" cover makes it possible to
fold the four insulated sites of the
cover on top of the roof. This makes
the storage and the return flow of
the covers from the receiver back to
the sender easier. To use the cover,
the folded cover is simply placed on
top of the goods and folded
open.
The corners of the covers are Velcro closures so it can be closed easily
and fast. The Q-fold
thermo thermal cover is
tailor made for euro
pallets, block pallets
or other sizes. Next to
the dimensions also the
insulation quality is
produced according to
the required temperature
preservation or
temperature results.

Thermal

If
extra cooling is
required to maintain the
temperature of the
products, a cooling
device or mass adding
cooling technique can be
applied as shown in the
drawings below.

Foldable
flaps for vork lifters on thermo covers
Pallets
are being moved by fork-lifters and other
devices. This means that forks may
penetrate the insulated cover when the
cover is hanging over the pallet. To
prevent the cover from being damaged, the
location points of the forks have been
produced with foldable flaps.
This means
that these flaps, which are a part of the
insulated cover, will fold-up when the
forks penetrate the pallet.

VIW
Height regulation system on thermo covers
The
VIW system is a specially designed height regulation
system. Special Velcro straps which are implemented in the roof
of the cover make it possible to adjust
the cover according to the height of the
goods loaded on the pallet. This gives the
big advantage that only one cover is
needed for different pallet heights.

Long
duration of life of thermo covers
The
thermo covers are made out of strong
yet light weight materials so they
can provide a long duration of life.
Supermarkets and transport companies
who are using the thermo covers experience
a lifetime between 3 and 5
years.

Water
resistant and cleanable
The
used foils in the thermo covers are
water resistant so they can be
easily cleaned which is important
for the hygiene when the cover is
used for food or pharmaceutical
goods.

trace of thermo covers
If
the cover is used for one way or re-usable purposes the cover can be
provided with several tracking and
tracing systems as unique numbers,
barcode or RFID technologies. Krautz
