Cooling system for crates with ice-packs for distribution of temperature controlled goods

Crates are commonly used in the small distribution of goods. If temperature sensitive goods are shipped in these crates, extra cooling could be required to maintain the needed temperatures. When this extra cooling is needed, the Krautz cooling system could be used. This cooling system has the size of the crate, can be filled with ice packs and is placed on top of the crate. At the bottom, the cooling system has holes on the location of the ice packs so the cold air can flow downwards over the goods keeping them on the required temperature. On the top of the cooling system a lid is foreseen to close and protect the temperature of the ice packs. The complete cooling system is insulated. As an extra protection the crate with cooling system can be placed in an insulated cover or the insulated cover can be made to fit on the inside of the crate with openings on the top so the cold air can flow into the insulated bag.
