The Temax insulation is a high quality insulation or flexibel thermal blanket that is being used to insulate conditioned goods such as pharmaceuticals (+2°c to+8°c) (+15°c to +25°c) and fresh or perishables. The Temax insulation can be produced as a one way or multiple use thermal blanket and functions as a passive packaging. The insulation is being used in the air cargo and air freight industry by freight forwarders ans airliners, yet also the producers of pharmaceuticals or perishables use the Temax insulation to protect the conditioned goods against external temperatures. Below you can see how a Euro pallet or block pallet is being insulated with the Temax insulation for freight forwarding the goods around the world in the required temperature enviroments.

Are prevoius steps done, than you get a result as the drawing. To prevent air from floating in the insulation and the goods, it is needed to tape the edges of the insulation so the roof-side insulation is sealed against the bottom insulation (see yellow line). The pallet is now ready for shipment.

Pallets are usualy sealed with seal foils or stretch foils to prevent the goods from falling of the pallet. If this pallet needs to be insulated, it is adviseble to insulate after the sealing. If the pallet is being insulated first and afterwards seald with stretchfoil, the chance is real that the insulation is pressed so hard that it is being reduced in thickness which will influence the temperature results.
