Usage

More and more supermarkets and retailers are offering a home delivery service. Yet the home delivery of frozen and chilled food is not that easy seeing the packaging is not always ideal. Not only does the packaging require a high insulation, onso the waste management of the delivered package is important.

Therfore Krautz has developed a special insulation material for the home delivery of chilled and frozen food products with a high insulation quality, no condens, flexible folable material and 100% recycleble. This material can be produced tailor made according to each box size. Several home delivery companies and webshops have succesfully tested and implemented this product for a various of chilled and frozen food products with amazing results.

How it works

You may have seen it sometime. Reflection foils as an insulation material. Nasa for example uses reflection as an insulator or when a person is hurt in a car accident. Then also a reflection foil is used to keep the person warm. The Temax insulation is based on this technology yet in a multilayer system so multiple reflections insure an unseen insulation quality.

The Temax insulation uses a multilayer reflection technology. To ensure the reflection the foils are separated with special filling material. The reflection foils have a reflection capacity of 98% which is a lot and results in an unseen insulation quality. More information: see Insulation

Tailor made

Krautz is producer of this unique insulation and offers the possibility for tailor made solutions. The insulation can be made on rolls so you can wrap your goods or pallets or the insulation can be produced as a tailor made package.

- Goods = Frozen food -18°c

- Cold adhedive = 2 packages dry ice

- Surrounding external temperature = +20°C

- Goal = 48 uur temperature result of minimal -18°C

Temax insulation for cardboard boxes

The Temax is a new revolutionary insulation material with unseen temperature results. It is 100% recyclable, has a very light weight and takes only a minimum of storage place in your warehouse or at your customer. The insulation can be used for chilled, frozen of heated products.

A good advice for long temperature results

Make sure you press the air out of the insulation. If you have warm air in the insulation with your cold products, the result will not be so good. If you send just a minimal of goods, seal the insulation with tape after you have pressed the warm air out if the insulation.
