Krautz
had developed a new and unique
insulation cover or thermo cover
which is mounted-in on the inside of
a standard roller container so the
roller container is being
transformed into an insulated thermo
container. The Mobi-box, as the
cover is called, is used to maintain
the temperature of conditioned goods
which are loaded into the container.
The Mobi-Box is successfully in use
at supermarkets in France and
Germany for the distribution and
logistics of chilled and frozen food
products. |

cover is mounted one time in the roller
container and stays in the container.

Seeing
the Mobi-Box is tailor made
according to the sizes of the roller
container the customer maintains its
own dimensions which is not the case
when heavy solid thermo containers
are being used which are bigger than
the standard roller containers and
require special attention in de
planning of the distribution and
take a lot of place in the trailers.
The Mobi-Box is also very light in
weight and easy to handle.

| Extra
temperature with ice packs |

The
Mobi-box thermo container is produced
with a special cold storage place
in which ice-packs or dry ice can be
placed to bring extra chilled
temperatures on to the chilled or
frozen goods. The quantity of
ice-packs or dry ice is hereby
depending on the volume of the goods
and the time of transport that is

Long
duration of life
|
|
The
thermo covers are made out of strong
yet light weight materials so they
can provide a long duration of life.
Supermarkets and transport companies
who are using the thermo covers experience
a lifetime between 3 and 5
years.

Water
resistant and cleanable
|
|
The
used foils in the thermo covers are
water resistant so they can be
easily cleaned which is important
for the hygiene when the cover is
used for food or pharmaceutical
goods.

trace
|

If
the cover is used for one way or re-usable purposes the cover can be
provided with several tracking and
tracing systems as unique numbers,
barcode or RFID technologies. Krautz
