| Usage |
|
|
Cardboard
boxes or cartons are used as a
packaging for all kind of goods.
Krautz has developed a special box
for the transport of conditioned
goods. The boxes or cartons have a
special reflecting foil on the
outside with a special protection
film so the box is also waterproof. |
|
|
The reflection foil will reflect the
outside temperature to protect the
goods inside. Yet the reflecting
foil also offers a special view so
the boxes are also used for
commercial purposes. The boxes can
be tailor made according to the wishes
of the customer. Also prints
as logo's etc are possible.

Insulation
for boxes

|
To
transport conditioned goods as food
products, chemicals or
pharmaceutical products, the boxes
can be filled with a special
insulation (Temax
Insulation).
This insulation provides a very long
temperature quality and has been tested
for food and pharmaceutical
products. The insulation is based on
a multilayer reflection technology
which gives the big advantage that
the insulation does not take on an
own temperature. Also the condensation is
being reduced to a minimum.

Test results
|
|
The
insulation with the reflecting box
was extremely tested by Eismann
Germany. They had a box 43 x 31 x 60
cm which had the Temax4000
insulation. Next they put only 4kg
of dry-ice in the box and kept it in
a room of +20°C. After 40 hours the
temperature in the box was still
-36°C. Eismann told they had never
seen such a result.

How
it works
|
|
|
You
may have seen it sometime.
Reflection foils as an insulation
material. Nasa for example uses
reflection as an insulator or when a
person is hurt in a car accident.
Then also a reflection foil is used
to keep the person warm. The Temax
insulation is based on this
technology yet in a multilayer
system so multiple reflections
insure an unseen insulation quality. |

The
Temax insulation uses a multilayer
reflection technology. To ensure the
reflection the foils are separated with special filling material. The
reflection foils have a reflection
capacity of 98% which is a lot and
results in an unseen insulation

insulation and offers the possibility for
tailor made solutions. The insulation can
be made on rolls so you can wrap your
goods or pallets or the insulation can be
produced as a tailor made package.

and takes only a minimum of storage place in your warehouse or at your

for chilled, frozen of heated

| A
good advice for long
temperature results |
|
Make
sure you press the air out of
the insulation. If you have
warm air in the insulation
with your cold products, the
result will not be so good. If
you send just a minimal of
goods, seal the insulation
with tape after you have
pressed the warm air out if
the insulation. |
