The
Krautz "cool-shopper" is an insulated
cover who fits in a folding box for food. The
plastic folding box or stacking crate is used by
the shopper or consumer to carry their goods
from the supermarket to the car and to their
homes. Although this box does not protect the
temperature of the frozen or chilled, refrigerated food
products. |

Therefore the insulated cover or
"cool-shopper" was developed. The
"cool shopper" is tailor made
according to the box which is sold in the
supermarket and is developed according the
wanted requirements. The
big advantage of the
"cool-shopper" is
that the consumer always has
it with him/her when needed.

are mostly forgotten at home,
the folding crate with the
cool-shopper is never
forgotten. This is a known
fact. This fact stimulates the
consumer to buy this unique

is it made smaller so it will divide the
folding shopping box in half so the
consumer can place temperature controlled

"cool-shopper" is developed in request
of the supermarket. Studies in supermarkets did
show that when a consumer had bought frozen or
cooled food products they left the supermarket
sooner then if they did not buy these kind of
products. And the sooner a consumer leaves the
supermarket the less they buy. So the maxi
"cool-shopper" makes sure that if the
consumer buys temperature controlled food
products, the consumer remains longer in the
supermarket.
