of night covers in supermarkets |
|
The
"Thermo-Roller" is a unique insulated
night cover for commercial freezers in the
supermarket. It was developed on request of a
Dutch supermarket who experienced problems with
the standard night covers. Condense water which
fell into the freezer and on the frozen
products became ice. Insulation plates who took a lot of time to put on
the freezer,
etc... Therefore the "thermo-roller"
night cover was developed. The
"thermo-roller" is an insulated blanket or
cover with integrated plastic tubes and
no-condense system. Just place the
"Thermo-roller" on the freezer and
roll it out. Simple and fast.

Technical
characteristics
|
|
The
"Thermo-roller" is an insulated
blanket or cover which is implemented with
plastic tubes at each 0,5 meters. These
tubes rest on the site of the freezer when
it is rolled-out. A unique no-condense
system which is implemented at the bottom of
the insulation makes sure no condense water
will fall into your freezer or onto the
frozen food products. The
"thermo-roller" is delivered to
you in a roll. To use it, just put the roll
on one side of the freezer and roll it out.
In the morning you roll it back up and put
the roll in your storage room. Best is to
keep it at a temperature of ca 18°c so the
"thermo-roller' can dry to be used
again in the evening at closing time.

"Thermo-roller" is used in lots of supermarkets in Europe. These
supermarkets know what they save on
their electricity bill when using the
"thermo-roller" night cover.
Furthermore a Dutch research bureau
was instructed by a Dutch supermarket
to investigate the possible savings on
electricity of the freezer
when the "thermo-roller"
night cover was used. These are the

research bureau tested them self a freezer in the supermarket
with a length of ca 10 meters. They tested on the
electricity consummation with
and without the
"thermo-roller" night cover.
