In our different production plants we use green energy. Herefore we have placed solar panels on the roof of our production plant so the sun is providing us the required energy to produce our products. We have placed so many solar panels that we are producing more energy than is needed for the production, so we are actually selling our over-produced energy to the energy companies.

If Temax insulation is produced we maintain a special quality management and controlling. This also means that it can happen that some productions are rejected by our quality controll and cannot be used for commercial applications. When this happens, we have implemented special recycling machines which break-down the foils and films to small parts. Next these small parts are melted in our meling machines to the basic material needed to produce new foils and films. This means that in our productions 0% waste is created.

The Temax material is, as other insulated packaging materials, also used as a one-way insulation which means that it is only used one time. This means that the material is wasted after its usage. The Temax insulation is therefore produced out of recyclable materials so the receiver of the package (end customer) can easely place the insulation material in the standard waste channels. The Temax insulation material is also flexible and can be pressed to a smaller package so the waste volumes also decreases.
Next, the polyethylene foils which are used for the thermo air bubble foils are not treated against UV-radiation which means that they are partial bio-degradable to very small sizes when they are placed in the sunlight for a few years.

In point 2 we have told about the recycling machines which we have implemented in our production process. This implementation offers us the possibility to offer our customers a recycling opportunity. Together with the clients we could organize a recycling system which means that our clients return us the used insulation materials after usage so we can recycle the material to be used again to produce new basic materials. If we would place this recycling method on the distribution chain we would see the following situation:

Seeing we take the ecological footprint as a very important issue, we recently started a special production of nature friendly gelpacks and icepacks. These gelpacks are recyclable and have no toxic substance.
