Thermal and insulated thermo covers for euro and block pallets, re-usable or one-way

The Temax insulation can be produced to tailor made thermal covers for Euro pallets or block pallets to insulate the loaded goods such as perishables or pharmaceuticals. The thermal cover can be produced as a one-way use or a multiple use cover in which the insulation material is being protected by a strong outer foil. In either possibility the thermal cover is functioning as a passive packaging to protect the loaded conditioned goods against external temperatures end extreme temperature fluctuations which can damage the quality of the goods. To guaranty a maximum temperature result it is nessecary to insulate the bottom of the pallet. Herefore a one-way use or multiple use thermal blanket can be used. The thermal blanket is foreseen with a tape closure or a velcro closure (multiple use) which is sealed against the sides of the thermal cover. After the thermal cover is been put over the goods, the flapps of the thermal blanket are raised upwards and sealed against the thermal cover. Last it is adviseble to tape the sides and closures with tape to seal any possible cold bridges.

We would like to advice not to seal or stretch the thermal cover seeing the strength of the stretchfilm of stretchfoil when put on very tight, will press the insulation together so insulation quality will be going lost. Therefore it is better so stretch the pallet before insulating it with the thermal cover.
